You lose what you don't replace
It is easy to get in the habit of spreading misinformation, especailly when you don’t know that you’re doing so. The general consensus appears to be that you lose what you don’t use. This is technically equivalent to saying, “You don’t lose what you use.” Just because a lot of people agree—and many of these people are assumed to be educated—doesn’t make it true. To oversimplify the inner workings of the body to the extent that it causes the spreading of misinformation is simply absurd.
